When I booked my dive trip to Con Dao, Vietnam, I expected beautiful coral reefs. And don't get me wrong, they were amazing. But then I saw something on the Amadive itinerary: **Diving a Sunken Wreck**. My heart leaped. This wasn't just a standard dive; this was an exploration into the past.

I have to admit, I felt nervous. Diving a wreck is serious business. But the team at **Amadive Con Dao Dive Center** were incredible. The PADI instructors provided a detailed safety briefing. We covered safety protocols, the story of the sunken ship, and what to expect below. The fact we were in a small group instantly made me feel safe.

Going down was surreal. At first, it's a shadow in the blue, then suddenly it came into view. It was enormous. The ship is now a thriving new home, draped in corals and more info swarming with marine life. We saw big groupers hiding from the cargo hold, and schools of fusiliers patrolling the superstructure. That feeling of gliding next to this silent, ghostly structure was hard to describe—eerie, beautiful, and humbling at the same time. It truly is a time capsule on the seabed.

If you're an Open Water diver (or higher) visiting Con Dao and looking for something beyond the usual reef dive, I recommend this **Con Dao wreck dive** highly enough. It was the unforgettable highlight of my diving trip. A huge thank you to the **Amadive Con Dao** team for their professionalism and for making this unforgettable experience so memorable.
